Aside from that, you must defend yourself from explosions to survive. The numbers that you see on the board indicate how many bombs are adjacent to it. It means this will include above, below, right, left, and every diagonal. When you have determined there is a hidden bomb, you can set a flag on it. In case you divulge a tile with a dangerous item without flagging it, you will activate it. You will not explode. But, the score will be subtracted. Good luck!
